JoieFarm was one of the highlights of our trip along the Naramata Bench. Mrs. W&B and I both really enjoyed the wines here — especially the reds and sparklings, which stood out among the many we tried on this trip. Our tasting hostess was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the wines she was pouring.
The winery has a relaxing vibe with great views of the lake and vineyards, and there's even a small stage set up for live music. And then there’s the hot dog bar. Yes — hot dogs at a winery, and it works. It’s fun, it’s casual, and it adds to the whole easygoing, come-hang-out-a-while atmosphere of the place.
Relaxed setting, great staff, great wines, and a hot dog with a glass of bubbly? That’s a combo I can get behind.
