Mrs W&B and I dropped by Summerland Heritage Cider Co. on a hot summer day and it turned out to be a great call. The ciders were solid across the board, with a good variety to choose from — dry to sweeter options, and even a cider slush, which absolutely hit the spot in the heat.

Out back, there's a fantastic covered patio that looks out over the orchard, complete with water mist sprayers to keep things cool. Add a grassy area with lawn games and you've got a great place to hang out for a while and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Relaxed, orchard-side setting, refreshing drinks, and a cider slush in hand — tough to beat on a sunny day in the Okanagan.
