Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

This one was a total wildcard find by Mrs. W&B. Honestly, we weren’t entirely sure what it was—we just thought, why not? When our Uber pulled up, we looked at the building and thought, this has to be a mistake. But we were already there, so we decided to roll with it.

At first, it seemed like just a small wine shop. But then we discovered a bar tucked away upstairs around the back, complete with a full cocktail menu and your choice of indoor seating or a relaxed backyard patio. Inside the shop, you could also hand-pick your own meats and cheeses, and they’d build a custom charcuterie board for you.

As luck would have it, there was live music that afternoon. We grabbed some cocktails, enjoyed our charcuterie, soaked in the tunes, and just kicked back in the backyard. It was an unexpectedly perfect afternoon.

If you’re in New Orleans, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.
